We use the amazing $12,800 Martin Jem Glaciator.
The only type of low fog effect unit permitted for use in Ballrooms and Banquet rooms.
This is the same unit that is used to produce the fog effects for major production shows in
Las Vegas. Cirque Du Soliel's "O", Mystere', KA, and Phantom Of the Opera all use the Glaciator
The Glaciator Low Cloud effect won't set off fire alarms since it only rises 12 to 36 inches
off the dance floor.
Don't be fooled by imitators ie: "Dry Ice" Effects.
Dry Ice can be very dangerous as it has to be handled with extreme care. Dry ice is the solid form of Carbon Dioxide. It sublimates at −109.3 °F (−78.5 °C ) This extreme cold makes the solid dangerous to handle without protection due to burns caused by freezing (frostbite). While generally not very toxic, the outgassing from it can cause hypercapnia (abnormally elevated carbon dioxide levels in the blood) due to buildup in confined locations.
